Shifting obesity care from hospital to community: ASO Clinical Meeting 2025
The Association for the Study of Obesity (ASO) is delighted to announce a one-day MDT clinical meeting on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Crowne Plaza, Nottingham.
Organised by the ASO Clinical Practice and Obesity Management Sub-Committee, this free, educational event will focus on shifting obesity care from hospital to community settings.
Promising a packed day of learning, innovation, and collaboration for healthcare professionals managing obesity in clinical settings – don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to gain insights from leading experts, participate in interactive workshops, and connect with peers to exchange best practices.
Sessions will explore evidence-based therapies, such as physical activity, nutritional strategies, psychological interventions, and pharmacotherapy, featuring insights from renowned speakers like Dr Dimitris Papamargaritis, Professor Alex Miras, Dr Michael Crotty and Dr Sue Kenneally.
Complementing the main sessions, participants can join practical workshops designed to address critical areas such as funding for obesity services, implementing evidence-based clinical pathways, and improving collaboration between primary and secondary care for effective obesity management.
