About Independent Diabetes Trust (IDDT)
IDDT is a registered charity for people living with diabetes run by people living with diabetes.
We recognise that when one person in a family lives with diabetes, this affects other family members and we offer support to carers, partners and parents. IDDT raise awareness of important issues for people with diabetes and provide information in non-medical language.

We are a leading applied health research unit committed to improving the lives and care of people with diabetes and other long-term conditions. Based at the Leicester General Hospital, we are a collaboration between the University of Leicester and University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
